Birds are moving from the north tonight as light northerly winds and the clearing of Jeanne set the stage for migration. The Boston (MA) and Albany (NY) radars show a strong movement of birds overhead just after sunset. New Jersey radar shows some southbound migration, even in the face of light southerly winds. Hopefully we’ll see some of this action head into our area by morning. I’ll post the radar at about 6:30am.
