Here’s the radar and velocity from sunset last night until sunrise this morning:
Last night’s radar shows a significant density of birds taking off from New Jersey and points north. Birds continue to stream overhead until sunrise. The velocity confirms the signature by showing the movement to be in a general North/South configuration, at speeds +15kts faster than the prevailing winds. I’m out the door to see what’s around.
