Well whattaya know?

I couldn’t see anything on last night’s radar this morning, but it seems like ‘waves’ of migrants were moving into local fall migrant spots today, so my prediction was totally wrong. I guess things were moving ‘under the radar’ so to speak. I don’t know what to say, except this isn’t a perfect science (actually, I don’t claim to be doing any ‘science’ at all on this website). Tonight there seems to be some movement over our area, albeit small so far (it’s still early). To our north the front seems to have backed up against the coast, and nothing appears to be moving. The winds in the upper atmosphere are actually blowing from the south/southwest, so I don’t expect any great movement tonight…we’ll see.

  1. David,
I knew stuff would be coming south this am but the rain, fog, smog Wettness stopped me from getting out to sample it. I was up at 4.30 looking at it!!
