Big wave of birds headed our way

It’s ON! Nocturnal migration is in full effect tonight, up and down the East Coast, across the Gulf Coast, and from Cuba to the Yucatan. No weather in sight, so head for the hills or the coast in the AM. ::cough cough:: I think I’m going to be calling in sick tomorrow…
Here’s the national composite from ~11:00pm tonight, migration is circled in red.

One Response to Big wave of birds headed our way

  1. Susan says:

David, last night I was awakened by a cool east wind (scientifically verified by my wind chimes!) and I thought I could see that east wind’s effect on the migration on the radar as the night went on. Do you agree?
