Woohoo! Birds are on the move over the Southeast, including North Carolina, Virginia, the Delmarva peninsula, and into South Jersey. Better yet, there’s a line of thunderstorms sitting over Central Jersey and birds are heading right into it. Since it’s still very early in migration, the likely migrants are still those which winter in the southeast USA, so don’t expect much diversity change…but still…there’s gotta be SOMETHING new coming, right? Either way, I think Cape May should have higher densities of birds around tomorrow morning…we’ll have to watch for reports to see what shows up. I’ll post the radar in the AM.
