Wow. I totally had to rethink this post. Birds are migrating over New Jersey, but not into New Jersey from the south. The Virginia radar is quiet and the Dover radar is only showing minor migration. The Mt. Holly radar is showing the most migration, and these birds are heading right into the line of storms. We’ll have to wait until later tonight to see where the best locations for tomorrow will be.

We have been getting rain in DC for the past few hours, so I doubt many birds will be flying northward through the area overnight.
