Very light migration tonight

Winds are calm, but there are a few birds moving on the radar tonight. It’s hard to tell, and the signal is very noisy, but at least a small number of birds have taken to the sky. Migration conditions will be optimal once the cold front clears over the weekend, which is now shaping up to be either Saturday night or Sunday morning. The heaviest night of migration will depend on the timing of the front- so keep an eye out for winds switching out of the Northwest. I’ll post the radar tomorrow morning.
