Sandra,
I am very interested in learning about the night migration of eastern bluebirds. I am fully aware of their migrations during the daytime, but would like to learn more about your confirmations of night migrating bluebirds. How common is it for you to find bluebirds migrating at nightime? How many on average do you find, and at what times of the night? I am from central NY. Am new to this post.

Tues - 10-2. East Point in Cumberland County was very good. Birds flying back N and NE into the light winds NE winds. Only 7 species of warbler. I believe most came in this morning. But my highlights were 82 CATBIRDS, 71 FLICKERS, and 31 EASTERN BLUEBIRDS. I don't recall having BLUEBIRDS on a morning flight before. And these birds were heading up the road like all the others. Cool!
