Common Redpoll at our feeder in Somerset, NJ. By far the coolest new bird to our yard list. There were two, actually, a female and this male, but only the male stuck around for the rest of the day yesterday. So far neither have returned today…

We’re still waiting to see some of those northern specialties to show up at our feeders. So far, not even purple finches… but I’m hopeful! Nice shots, btw.
