As predicted, winds have shifted to SSE (although they’re quite light right now) and birds have been migrating out of the state since sunset. With winds still from the ENE to our south, we shouldn’t expect any measurable influx of birds tomorrow. Monday and Tuesday night though, are looking very promising for migration into our area, so make sure to check my Mid-Atlantic forecast on birdcapemay.org/bfma/ for an in-depth discussion of the weather, and check back here by 6:30am each morning for the radar and analysis of migration as it unfolds.
