Good luck David! I hope the next level is not too complex! I was just starting to learn to read the radar now.... Are you doing anything with the sea radar? I found that fascinating how they are trying to incorporate radar at the Avalon seawatch. And what about the diurnal migrants over NJ? Endless possibilities for research and learning.

I just dropped by Woodcreeper to start calculating in the radar echoes for my destinations. So sorry to hear it will be on hiatus for the spring, but it's for a good cause - your Ph.D.!

For what it's worth, I think you are jumping on this topic at the right time. It's interdisciplinary, involving weather and technology. RU has a very fine meteorology department. Do you work with them? Also, science funding is ramping up exponentially right now.

Good luck on the grant application!
