Another night without migration over the NE and Mid-Atlantic

More southerly winds kept birds down last night. Heavy migration was evident on the Central and Mississippi flyways, so it’s just a matter of time before things pick up again on the East Coast. In fact, it looks like Thursday night will be the night for flight over the region, with NW winds filling in behind the passing cold front. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, head out and do some shorebirding, or find some of the Connecticut Warblers showing up across the region… birds are everywhere!!!

Good Birding
