We went to Sandy Hook this afternoon to see the Sage Thrasher which was awesome. We got word from Evan Obercian that he had 4 Vesper Sparrows along the parking area just south of K-lot. We were very lucky to find 2 of them 6 hours after his initial sighting. It was obvious that there were many YR Warblers and sparrows around in the short time we were on the Hook.
