No detectable migration last night (part deux)

(sorry! This was supposed to auto-post this morning at 5:00am and I just realized that it didn’t… sheesh, technology)

I’m sleeping in this morning (9/8). As of last night the radar showed no visible sign of migration over the northeast coast and mid-Atlantic. Winds were out of the SE at altitude and light and variable at the surface as of sunset (Judging by the stickiness of my shirt, they still are at 11:55pm). In the meantime there are still plenty of good birds to be found (or re-found) so get out there before they all take off! (most likely on Friday night).

Good Birding
