Birds continue to push north across the U.S.

Low pressure over the Southeastern US did keep some birds from migrating in the area immediately affected by precipitation, but otherwise migration was widespread across the country last night. Heavy migration was evident in the Upper Midwest where birds have been backed up for weeks due to an unseasonably cold and snowy spring. Birds continued to pour up the Central Flyway via south Texas as the Gulf Coast enters the latter half of migration for the 2013 spring season. Continue reading
