    Northwesterly winds behind the cold front pushed birds along their fall migration route last night. Birds are seen taking flight after sunset and continuing into the morning hours.   • No migration detected

    South winds on the eastern side of the approaching cold front prevented any migration along the eastern flyway last night. Conditions are forecast to continue through the next two nights, switching to northwesterly winds on Thursday. Look for a good flight on Thursday night unless weather develops more rapidly than expected.
