Little Migration Over NJ

Sorry about not having the radar, the download crapped out around midnight last night. I checked the real-time site this morning and it looks like a little migration was going on as soon as the precipitation (the warm front from yesterday that moved back south last night as a cold front) cleared. Density was light, but the NE wind gave some birds the conditions necessary to move south.

  1. David,
Nothing of great interest here at Duke. However, of note there are still two Great egrets here at the estate, and waterfowl are starting to arrive. Ring-necked Duck, Ruddy’s, Black Ducks, and many Common Mergs. have arrived over the last few days. Talk to you soon – Chris Aquila – Duke farms research and natural Resources Supervisor.
