No Migration Detected

Southeast winds are keeping things slow. Last night was another one filled with anomalous propagation, but no detectable migration. Tonight is likely going to be the same, and I don’t expect things to pick up again until the winds switch Wednesday night. I’ll keep you posted as things change, until then, go out and find all those Connecticut and Mourning warblers that are hiding in your backyard, waiting for the next good night to migrate. I had a Cape May Warbler at HMF this morning, and a possible Mourning that ducked away before I could get a satisfactory look…I’ll try again tomorrow!

Good Birding
