Looks like a migration lull for a few nights

Winds are switching around to the west and southwest until Wednesday, when they go back to northerly. I’m still detecting many of the common breeders in their respective territories around HMF, E. Pee Wee’s, Wood Thrush, Prairie Warblers, Blue-winged Warblers, Chipping Sparrows (even the one feeding the B.H. Cowbird…grrrrr), Indigo Bunting, etc. Like Chris Vogel said, the first of the big noticeable pushes of warblers seem to occur in the latter part of August…which is right around the corner! Hopefully Thursday morning will see an increase in diversity…fingers crossed!
