Another night of migration over Jersey

Another night of migration last night, although not as heavy as the night before.
Here’s the radar from sunset last night through 5:00am this morning.

Frames are every 1/2 hour for reflectivity and velocity, and every hour for the regional composite. Click on the thumbnail to view the full-sized animation.

Winds were not entirely cooperative over the east coast last night, with upper air winds mixed south and north, and surface winds ranging from north to east. Birds in general appeared to be moving from NE to SW across the region.
