Belated radar from 8/20

This is a late posting of the radar from 6:00pm on 8/19 to 6:00am on 8/20. Migration was light, but apparent, over the NE and Mid-Atlantic. Now that I have finally defended my Ph.D. thesis, I can get back to posting the radar every morning! Here’s the radar from two nights ago:

Frames are every 1/2 hour. Click on the thumbnail to view the full-sized animation.

  1. Congratulations, David!
Looking forward to Saturday night radar for Sunday morning bird banding in Hopewell Twshp.
Will you or someone else be carrying on?

  2. Thanks Hannah!

I’ll be carrying on as long as I’m in New Jersey and I have the time. Right now that’s the “foreseeable future”.

I look forward to hearing reports from your banding station.
