Today’s birds and tomorrow’s forecast

First off, birds are on the move again tonight. I’ll post the radar by 7am tomorrow morning.

Today on the ‘back 40′ the migration was evident. Conspicuously absent were tanagers and orioles…weird.

From 7:30 – 9:30am
Magnolia Warbler (5, all adult females)
Common Yellowthroat (many)
Prairie Warbler (1 adult female)
Ovenbird (1)
Blue-winged Warbler (1 adult male)
Blackburnian Warbler (1st fall)
Chestnut-sided Warbler (1)
American Redstart (2 juvenile males)
Canada Warbler (1 adult male)
Red-eyed Vireo (6)
Yellow-billed Cuckoo (2)
Eastern Wood Peewee (3)

plus all the regular wrens, towhees, catbirds, robins, etc.

Good Birding :)
