More Bird Over Jerze


Another night of birds moving south over our fine state. Here’s the radar from sunset last night through 5:30am this morning. It looks like things should slow down over the next 48 hours with a new front moving into our area later this weekend. I’ll be out of town from Friday through Monday, so use the real-time radar site to get your daily fix.

Dave, it appears you prefer the RU site over the realtime site. Could you comment on the differences?

I like the RU radar because

  1. I can download it really easily
  2. It has the counties outlined
  3. I can download it really easily

I like the NCAR site because

  1. It has better coloration
  2. The menus are more intuitive and work in the Firefox browser
  3. You can switch between base reflectivity and velocity by simply clicking the image
  4. You can display regional and nationwide composites …AWESOME
