Birds over Jerze

Moderate migration over Jerze last night, but it looks like a nice pulse entered from the south early this morning. Here’s the radar from sunset last night through sunrise this morning.

It was definitely birdy around my place this morning. On the morning walk we saw several RED-EYED VIREOS, many Ruby-crowned Kinglets, PALM WARBLERS, PRAIRIE WARBLERS, YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, and a single BALTIMORE ORIOLE. Sharp-shinned and Cooper’s hawk were both seen as well.

Nature Note:
Bats are back! Last night there were up to 7 at once feeding over the field behind our house.
