No migration last night

The East Coast was quiet last night, while the central flyway was experiencing another fantastic movement of birds. The weather outlook for the rest of the week is quite bleak. North winds are forecast through Wednesday, then east through Thursday night. We’ll have to wait and see if there’s enough of a backup of birds to make the push under suboptimal conditions. I’ll be away from my computer on and off until the WSOB, but will try and post from Cape May as much as possible starting on Thursday (the first night I’ll be in a hotel and not on a couch).

Good Birding!
