BIG migration over New Jersey

Wow! Big migration over New Jersey last night, with moderate migration over the Northeast. This was clearly the biggest push of birds over the Garden State this Fall, but what it will mean for birding conditions is still unclear since fewer birds were moving over the points north of us. Given the local density though, I think it’s safe to say that Cape May will have a high number of birds around this morning. All other fall migrant traps are definitely worth a visit today as well. With clear skies and light northeast winds forecast for this evening, look for another big push tonight, hopefully with more birds entering our “airspace” from the north.

Good Birding
