Early morning arrivals?

So I checked the radar at 1:30am, and the front was still moving east into our area…but no birds had pushed through into the state. When I checked the 5:30am just now (at 10:19am), some birds can be clearly seen moving from N–>S across New Jersey, indicating that some did indeed make it through the wind and rain. Any reports would be quite welcome.

Mainly quiet at the Celery Farm this morning in the drizzle–but one nice surprise–an Im. WHITE-EYED VIREO–very rare here–this is my 3rd fall record here and the latest by over 2 weeks!
also: Field Sparrow, Palm Warbler, flyover Purple Finch, 10+ Coot. An adult White-crown was also reported.

a good sized push of birds at Duke. Swamps have over taken savannahs as the most numerous sparrow on the outlying properties. Ten or so white crowneds, whereas since the weekend there has been very few. More juncoes and white throats…fields, chipping, songs, towhees, one Lincoln’s.

lots of rumps and a few palms still lingering about.

MANY Robins today…their numbers have building here over the last few days, but a huge number came in last night. They’re everywhere!
