Migration Tonight

Lots of birds over New Jersey tonight, obviously from the build-up last night as all the birds from Virginia made it as far north as the Garden State. Not much coming in from the south, but if the rain puts these birds down tonight, there could be some good concentrations at places like Garret Mountain and Sandy Hook. I’ll post the radar in the morning.

One Response to Migration Tonight

  1. Sandra Keller says:

Monday afternoon as I was birding the Rancocas Woods, I encountered
many more White-throated and Song Sparrows and Juncos than I have had there all winter. Plus a couple of Towhees that after reading your report on the radar may have been migrants also. Tree Swallows were back, etc.
