Migration forecast

It looks like we may see some action in the first half of the week, as a new weather system pushes into the Northeast on Tuesday. Winds are forecast to switch around out of the south on Tuesday, and then the east overnight into Wednesday morning. This is expected to take place all down the east coast, so we could see a good eastern flyway migration event on Tuesday night. There is some rain predicted as well, the severity of which will determine its impact on the migrating birds. Keep your fingers crossed that the winds follow the timing in the forecast!

Good Birding 🙂

One response to “Migration forecast”

  1. Last night the flood gates opened over the central flyway from the Gulf coast all the way up to the Great Lakes…this is a good sign for us as the same weather pattern should push east over the next two days…fingers crossed!
