Yeah. so I don’t think I can post the radar from last night…too much “night listening” in NYC last night.
Anyway, migration happened last night, but it was mostly birds leaving as the conditions to the south were less than optimal. Tonight’s forecast calls for west/northwest winds, so expect little in the way of migration. Tomorrow, on the other hand, the forecast is calling for south winds- so get ready for another push on Sunday night. I’ll be away for the weekend, so use the links on the sidebar to get you your radar fix. Either way go birding- it’s spring dammit!

I didn’t notice any dropoff at all … although, I was at Garret yesterday, and the Great Swamp today, so I can’t directly compare. I would say that Garret had more variety of migrants yesterday, but the Great Swamp had larger numbers. Two days of very fine birding!
